Welcome to Rent a Mechanic. By creating an account, downloading the Client or Partner Mobile App, or placing a repair callout on our web platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.
This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you (“User”, “Client”, or “Mechanic Partner”) and Rent a Mechanic Inc., governing your access to and use of our mobile applications, web dispatch portal, and associated technology services in Nigeria.
To register an account or request repair services, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess legal authority to enter into binding contracts under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Rent a Mechanic operates an technology dispatch network connecting vehicle owners, fleet managers, and machinery operators with independent certified mobile technicians across Nigeria. Rent a Mechanic is a service platform and does not employ technicians directly as salaried staff.
All service fees, diagnostics costs, and replacement part prices are agreed upon mutually between the Client and the assigned Mechanic Partner prior to work commencement.
Safety is built into every repair request. All Mechanic Partners undergo rigorous background screening, National Identification Number (NIN) verification, Trade Test certification, and police record checks prior to receiving dispatch access.

Clients may cancel a repair request free of charge prior to a technician departing for the breakdown site. If a technician has already been dispatched and arrived on location, a nominal callout diagnostic fee applies.
In the event of a dispute concerning service quality or replacement parts, Rent a Mechanic provides dedicated support via our Help Center and WhatsApp Support Line.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any legal disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be submitted to arbitration or the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
